The Township of North Dumfries maintains two arenas for public use. The Queen Elizabeth Arena in the Ayr Community Centre located on Church Street and the Ayr Farmers Mutual Insurance Company Arena in the new state-of-the-art North Dumfries Community Complex on Greenfield Road. Combined, these facilities host a variety of events and activities for the community.

This page will include regular updates and sign up information for activities and programs which user groups will host within the Ayr Community Centre or the North Dumfries Community Complex.

Regular Hours:

Open 7 days a week from 8:00AM to 11:00PM. 

SPRING/SUMMER Hours:

Monday: 8:00am - 8:00pm

Tuesday: 8:00am - 8:00pm

Wednesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Thursday: 8:00am - 8:00pm

Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Saturday/Sunday: CLOSED

The above noted hours are from April 2nd to September 28th except for the months of July & August where the hours will be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm daily.

Public Skating is available starting at the beginning of October at both the NDCC and Ayr Arena. See the schedule below.
