Reminder: No Overnight Parking Begins December 1st
REMINDER: No overnight parking from December 1st to March 31st.
Parking is prohibited overnight between 2:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., seven (7) days a week, from December 1st to March 31st on any Township of North Dumfries roadway.
During the winter months, By-Law Enforcement will be actively enforcing this in order to eliminate any conflict with snowplow operations. Failure to abide, may result in a fine or your vehicle being towed. The fine for parking on-street overnight is $30.00.
The Township may declare a snow or winter event at any time of the year. All vehicles parked on the roadway will be subject to fines at all times of the day. Watch and listen to local media or refer to the Township’s website and social media accounts for public announcements of snow or winter events.
