Township to Lower Flags to Recognize Day of Mourning
Ayr - On Thursday April 28th, 2022, flags at all Township facilities and properties will be lowered to half-mast to recognize the National Day of Mourning. April 28th annually is the day when employers and employees come together to remember those who have lost their lives or suffered an injury or illness due to their work.
As we remember the workers who have lost their life, been injured, or become sick on the job, we also salute those working on the front lines today. As a community we all have a role to play, especially now, in keeping workplaces safe for everyone.
