Sponsoring a local event or activity is a great way to promote your cause and help the community come together!
Many opportunities exist throughout the Township of North Dumfries to market your business. From sponsoring a community skate, Movie Night, Music in the Park, Canada Day or an advertisement for your business on a rink board at the Ayr Farmer's Mutual arena. Your message is viewed in a positive environment while you support the community.

Free Public Skates |

Public skates are a great opportunity for community members to be active. Skating helps coordination, provides muscular training and provides cognitive benefits. Public Skates are a great place to gather with friends and neighbours and be active. Skating sponsors are welcome to set up a display at the North Dumfries Community Complex during the time of their sponsored skate. If sponsors wish to give out hot chocolate or a snack to skaters, we ask that you please do that at the end of the skating time as food and beverages are not permitted on the ice. If the concession booth will be open during your sponsored skate, you will not be permitted to give out food or beverages as it would be in violation of the contract between the Township of North Dumfries and the concession booth operator. Our popular Music In The Park at Centennial Park in beautiful downtown Ayr is a great way to spend a weeknight. Bring a lawn chair, sit under the willow trees and enjoy a variety of music. July 1st Celebration - Cowan Park on Tuesday, July 1st (time of event TBA) Our annual July 1st Celebration is a favourite event with our community and beyond. Music, family activities, food trucks and the best fireworks show around! Sponsorship opportunities are available:
