Ayr Ice House
|
One of the few remaining ice houses in Ontario located in the downtown core of the Village of Ayr. It is one of the 1 of 4 remaining ice houses of its kind in Canada.

Greenfield Heritage Conservation District
|
Near Ayr, in the hamlet of Greenfield is the Greenfield Village Heritage Conservation District. The Greenfield Village Heritage Conservation District link provides more information and a walking tour.
There are also Heritage Walking Tours of the Hamlet of Roseville and the Village of Ayr.

Downtown Ayr
|
Scenic Downtown Ayr has been used for a number of films and tv shows. Queen's Tavern has been the setting for filming including one of Stephen King's miniseries 11.22.63.

Detweiler Meeting House
|
Detweiler Meeting House is located in a scenic setting within the rural settlement of Roseville. The historic Detweiler Meetinghouse was built in 1855 and is the only surviving stone meetinghouse built by Mennonite pioneers in Ontario. Tours of this historic site can be arranged through the contact us link on the Detweiler Meetinghouse website. The Roseville Mennonite Cemetery is adjacent to the Detweiler Mennonite Meetinghouse.

Cruickston Park
|
Cruickston Park is a heritage estate in the Village of Blair. It was purchased in 1996 by the University of Guelph but has since been sold to private owners who are restoring the property.
In 2000, the remaining 913 acres was purchased for the Cruickston Charitable Research Reserve, which was renamed rare Charitable Research Reserve in 2004. This land is to be preserved and used for research towards better understanding of natural ecosystems.

Whistle Bear Golf Course

The Whistle Bear Golf Course was built on land that was originally owned by William Dickson, Jr., the founder of Galt (Cambridge). A portion of the land not used for the impressive golf course is undeveloped to preserve the natural wildlife habitat and plant life. |
Grand Valley Golf and Country Club

Since the early 1980s, the Grand Valley Golf and Country Club has provided family-oriented fun for the community. The club provides golfing, food services, and banquet facilities. |
Cambridge Golf Club

Nestled in Ward 4 of the Township of North Dumfries is the Cambridge Golf Club. Its beautiful scenic fairways offer a peaceful and quiet golf experience. The original stone single-family dwelling was built in 1880 and provides historic charm to the property. |
Savannah Golf Links
|
Savannah Golf Links is located in the Township of North Dumfries just north of Branchton. It is a public course that boasts a clubhouse with panoramic views of the golf course. |
