Attractions
Ayr Ice House |
One of the few remaining ice houses in Ontario located in the downtown core of the Village of Ayr. It is one of the 1 of 4 remaining ice houses of its kind in Canada. |
Greenfield Heritage Conservation District |
Greenfield Village Heritage Conservation District is located outside of Ayr in the hamlet of Greenfield. Please visit the Greenfield Village Heritage Conservation District for more information, including a working tour!
There are also Heritage Walking Tours of the Hamlet of Roseville and the Village of Ayr.

Downtown Village of Ayr |
The scenic Downtown Village of Ayr has been used for a number of films and tv shows. Queen's Tavern has been the setting for filming including one of Stephen King's miniseries 11.22.63. Read more about this in The Records about Stephen King's miniseries. |
Cruickston Park |
Cruickston Park in the hamlet of Blair (to learn about Cruickston Park see the Ayr News). Cruickston Park estate was purchased in 1996 by the University of Guelph. The house was sold to private owners. In 2000, the remaining 913 acres was purchased for the Cruickston Charitable Research Reserve, which was later renamed rare in 2004. The land purchased is to be preserved and used for research towards better understands natural ecosystems. |

Detweiler Meeting House |
Detweiler Meeting House in the hamlet of Roseville. The historic Detweiler Meetinghouse created in 1855, located one kilometer straight west of Roseville is the only surviving stone meetinghouse built by Mennonite pioneers in Ontario. |
