Open is a time slot for players of all skill levels. Players do not have to stick to one playing time for the entire session. You are welcome to play recreational, or competitive on any of the pickleball days, we just ask that you only play one of the playing times per day. |
Fair Play and Respect |
At the Township of North Dumfries, we are dedicated to the principles of fair play and respect. All individuals—whether participating, volunteering, or working within our facility—deserve to feel safe, welcomed, supported, and treated with dignity. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for intimidation, discrimination, harassment, bullying, or any belittling behavior. Violations will result in immediate registration revocation and further actions as necessary. We are committed to maintaining a positive and inclusive environment for all. |
Play at Your Own Risk |
Participation in activities at the North Dumfries Community Complex is undertaken at your own risk. While we strive to ensure a safe environment, we cannot guarantee absolute safety. By participating in our programs or using our facilities, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with these activities. We encourage all participants to exercise caution and adhere to safety guidelines to minimize risks. |
Pickleball Social |
We recognize that pickleball is not just an active program, but also a social program and being both active and social are essential to our well-being. We want to help foster the friendships that have been made on the court or help introduce new friends to one another. The Seniors Lounge will be open to registered pickleball players on the last Friday of every month, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a Pickleball Social. Bring your lunch, bring some coffee and treats and enjoy each other’s company before or after you play. We will provide the room, tables and chairs and the pickleball players will provide the snacks and (non-alcoholic) beverages. |
