Ward Three Councillor Alida Wilms |
Phone: 226-220-1955 My husband and I made North Dumfries our home some years ago. We choose this area because we want to raise our children in the same rural lifestyle that we were both raised in. I’m an immigrant who grew up on a vegetable farm near Hamilton. I have a BA Honours in English, Rhetoric and Professional Writing from the University of Waterloo. I’ve spent over 20 years working in the high tech industry, specializing in researching and writing. I consider it a privilege to serve the people in Ward 3 as their Councillor. I look forward to hearing from everyone in North Dumfries, and working together to build a beautiful community for ourselves and our kids. |
Ward Four Councillor Scott Tilley |
Phone: 226-792-2659 I live with my family (Wife - Christa, Children - Ava, Daniel and Micah) (3) doors down from where my mother lives and I was raised in Branchton. With rising costs and an economic slowdown looming ahead, I feel this next term will be extremely important for North Dumfries, business needs to run as usual but we (the Council) will need to put on our thinking caps to manage costs and needs effectively and carefully, making sure that we are in a good place when we come out the other side. Connection with the rest of the Region of Waterloo, Ontario and Federal government is going to help us get things done, excellent communication is my top goal with the people of North Dumfries, making sure to identify and support them when they need it. |
