2022 Municipal and School Board Election
The 2022 Municipal and School Board Elections happened on October 24, 2022.
The Township of North Dumfries is governed by a Council of five elected members: a Mayor and four ward Councillors. Every four years, the Mayor is elected at-large and the Councillors are elected by ward. Municipal Elections are governed by the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.
The next municipal election is on Monday, October 24, 2022. The Township of North Dumfries' Council approved the use a hybrid voting method system using internet and paper ballots for the 2022 Municipal Election.
Nominations are now closed. If you are on the Voters' List, look for your Voter Information Letter to arrive in the mail by early October. There are two options to cast your vote. Go to the Information for Voters page for more details, including how you can get added to the voters' list.
