Calling of a Special Council Meeting
Pursuant to the Township of North Dumfries Procedural By-law No. 3470-24, Section 5.4(a), Mayor Foxton has called a Special Meeting of Council. A Special Council Meeting, to take place at 3089 Greenfield Road, Ayr on:
Thursday, June 18, 2026 At 5:00 p.m.
The purpose of the Special Council Meeting is to attend, discuss and participate in a guided property walk regarding the following:
- Greenfield Mill Project Open House The Open House will provide an opportunity for Township Council, Township staff, stakeholders, and members of the Greenfield community to learn more about the proposed development, review project materials, and discuss the proposed planning applications with the project team. An application for Official Plan and Zoning Bylaw Amendments to be submitted to the Township for the redevelopment of the property by the Owner is pending.
In addition, Report No. CLK-17-2026: Appointment of Vice-Deputy Mayor will be presented for the purpose of appointing a Vice-Deputy Mayor.
No other business items will be discussed beyond those included with the circulated/posted Notice and/or Agenda. No decisions will be made during the course of the Special Council Meeting.
