Advertising and Sponsorships

Public skates are a great opportunity for community members to be active. Public Skates are a great place to gather with friends and neighbours and be active. Skating helps coordination, provides muscular training and provides cognitive benefits. 

Skating sponsors will be mentioned in social media ads and on the Township's website Events Calendar. The sponsors will also appear on the TV and bulletin boards at the Ayr Farmers Mutual Community Centre.  Sponsors are welcome to set up a display at the Ayr Farmers Mutual Community Centre during the time of their sponsored skate to promote their business or organization. If sponsors wish to give out hot chocolate or a snack to skaters, we ask that you please do that at the end of the skating time as food and beverages are not permitted on the ice. If the concession booth will be open during your sponsored skate, you will not be permitted to give out food or beverages as it would be in violation of the contract between the Township of North Dumfries and the concession booth operator. Thank you for your cooperation.

• December 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• December 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - sponsored by Ayr Farmers Mutual

March Break Skates available for sponsorship:

• March 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - sponsored by MP Connie Cody
• March 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• March 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Sponsorship fee is $283.25

This holiday season, we’re bringing something new to Centennial Park: Merry & Bright in the Park!

Centennial Park will be transformed into a festive winter experience filled with lights, seasonal decorations and a walking path where families, friends and neighbours can take a stroll, enjoy the sights and celebrate the season together.

We’re excited to create a new annual tradition for North Dumfries, one that brings people together outdoors and gives our community another reason to visit Centennial Park and downtown Ayr, during the winter months.

We’d love your help to make it shine!

We are inviting local businesses, organizations and community-minded supporters to sponsor Merry & Bright in the Park. Sponsorship donations will help us purchase lights, decorations and special features that can be enjoyed this year and reused and expanded in future years.

Your support will help us build something that can grow into a much-loved community tradition.

The Township of North Dumfries’ July 1st Community Celebration is one of our most anticipated events of the year. It's a true local favourite and each year 2,000 to 3,000 residents and visitors gather to celebrate Canada Day together in a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

The event features:

• Live music and entertainment

• Family-friendly activities for all ages

• The best fireworks show around

This celebration is all about bringing our community together, and we are looking for community-minded sponsors to help us make it even better.  Sponsorship support allows us to enhance programming, introduce new activities, and ensure the event remains free and accessible for everyone to enjoy.
