Public Invited to Help Shape New Pump Track at Jim Schmidt Memorial Park
The Township of North Dumfries is inviting residents to participate in a Design Workshop for the new Pump Track planned for Jim Schmidt Memorial Park.
The Design Workshop will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Dumfries Room at the Ayr Farmers Mutual Community Centre, located at 2958 Greenfield Road in Ayr.
Representatives from Canadian Ramp Company and Velosolutions, the project partners responsible for the design and construction of the pump track, will facilitate the workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to share ideas, preferences, and feedback that will help inform the final design of the facility.
The workshop is intended to gather input from prospective riders and community members to ensure the pump track reflects the needs and interests of users of all ages and skill levels. Feedback collected during the session will be considered as part of the overall design process for the project.
The Township encourages residents, cyclists, skateboarders, scooter riders, and anyone interested in the future of the park to attend and contribute to the discussion.
If you're unable to attend, but would still like to contribute feedback, please visit:
