Reminder - No Overnight Parking Begins December 1st
Overnight Parking By-law Reminders:
- Overnight parking is not permitted on any Township of North Dumfries roadway from 2:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- The fine for parking on street overnight is $30.00
- No person shall park a vehicle on any road within the Township during a snow or winter event.
- The Township may declare a snow or winter event at any time of the year. All vehicles parked on the roadway will be subject to fines at all times of the day.
- The overnight parking by-law is in effect until march 31st.
The Township understands that sometimes temporary relief may be needed for a special or unique situation. If you need temporary parking flexibility for an event, or special circumstance, please reach out to By-law Enforcement at 519-632-8800, or visit On-Street Parking Exemptions.
