Special Council Meeting Notice
Pursuant to the Township of North Dumfries Procedural By-law No. 3470-24, Section 5.4(a), Mayor Foxton has called a Special Meeting of Council.
A Special Council Meeting, to take place at the Ayr Farmers Mutual Community Centre in the Dumfries Room, 2958 Greenfield Road, Ayr on:
Monday August 10, 2026
At 5:15 p.m.
The purpose of the Special Council Meeting is to discuss the following item:
- Closed Session Report No. LGL 05-2026: “a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board” (Municipal Act s.239(2)(c)) and “advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose” (Municipal Act s.239(2)(f)).
No other business items will be discussed beyond those included within the circulated/posted Notice and/or Agenda.
