Special Council Meeting Notice

Pursuant to the Township of North Dumfries Procedural By-law No. 3470-24, Section 5.4(a), Mayor Foxton has called a Special Meeting of Council. 

A Special Council Meeting, to take place at the North Dumfries Community Complex in the Dumfries Room, 2958 Greenfield Road, Ayr on:  

Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. 

The purpose of the Special Council Meeting is to discuss the following item: 

1. Closed Session Report No. LGL 05-2025: Dance Pit Expansion Ontario Land Tribunal OLT File No. OLT-23-000588 “litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board” (Municipal Act, Section 239 (2)(e)) and “advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose” (Municipal Act, Section 239 (2)(f)).

No other business items will be discussed beyond those included with the circulated/posted Notice and/or Agenda. 

Any available corresponding information will be posted on the Township of North Dumfries website at www.northdumfries.ca.
