Township Lowers Flags to Half Mast - Community Mourns the Tragic Events in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia

Ayr -  The Township has lowered all Flags at Municipal properties in recognition of the victims and all those affected by the tragic events that occurred in Tumbler Ridge.   The Flags will remain lowered for seven days.

“This is just an unthinkable loss”, said Mayor Sue Foxton. “The residents of North Dumfries grieve with all Canadians.  This is heartbreaking news. The Township extends our condolences, and our thoughts are with the families, first responders, and community members who are facing profound loss and grief in the wake of this tragedy.”
