Overnight Parking Ban - Now in Effect

Overnight Parking By-law Reminders: 

Beginning December 1st, overnight parking is not permitted on any Township of North Dumfries roadway from 2:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. The fine for parking on street overnight is $30.00. No person shall park a vehicle on any road within the Township during a snow or winter event. The Township may declare a snow or winter event at any time of the year. All vehicles parked on the roadway will be subject to fines at all times of the day. 

The overnight parking by-law is in effect until March 31st. 

The Township understands that sometimes temporary relief may be needed for a special or unique situation. If you need temporary parking flexibility for an event, or special circumstance, please reach out to By-law Enforcement at 519-632-8800, or visit On-Street Parking Exemptions.

  • All dogs must be on a leash at all times.
  • Please pick up after your pet.

  • Please do not litter. Garbage cans are provided.
