Overnight Parking Ban - Now in Effect

Overnight Parking By-law Reminders: 

Beginning December 1st, overnight parking is not permitted on any Township of North Dumfries roadway from 2:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. The fine for parking on street overnight is $30.00. No person shall park a vehicle on any road within the Township during a snow or winter event. The Township may declare a snow or winter event at any time of the year. All vehicles parked on the roadway will be subject to fines at all times of the day. 

The overnight parking by-law is in effect until March 31st. 

The Township understands that sometimes temporary relief may be needed for a special or unique situation. If you need temporary parking flexibility for an event, or special circumstance, please reach out to By-law Enforcement at 519-632-8800, or visit On-Street Parking Exemptions.

Facility Rental

Located at 7 Church Street, Ayr

Includes:

  • Washrooms
  • Kitchen
  • Tables and chairs
  • One (1) room

We can accommodate up to 125 people in this room with tables and chairs. Alcohol is permitted in the community hall with a Special Occasion Permit.

 

Located at 2958 Greenfield Road, Ayr

MacNeil Hall can be used for a variety of events (photo below). 

Includes:

  • Washrooms
  • Kitchen (two stoves, chest freezer and commercial refrigerator)
  • Tables and chairs
  • One (1) large room that can be divided into two separate spaces

MacNeil Hall has a capacity of 200 people. Alcohol is permitted in MacNeil Hall with a Special Occasion Permit.

 

 

 


There are other rooms available at the North Dumfries Community Complex, with various accommodations and amenities:

  • Seniors Lounge
  • Fitness Room
  • Event Room

Located at 3195 Roseville Road, Ayr

 

Roseville Community Centre is an old schoolhouse located at Roseville Road and Fisher Hallman Road. It is a popular spot for family get-togethers. One classroom is available to rent. It also includes:

  • Washrooms
  • Small kitchen
  • Tables and chairs

Capacity is 30 people with tables and chairs or up to 40 people theatre-style (chairs only).

Alcohol is not permitted at this facility.
