Pop-Up Programs

Explore Our Pop-Up Programs!  We're excited to offer a variety of pop-up programs for the community.  New programs will be added regularly, so be sure to check back often for the latest updates.

How to Register:

  1. Complete the online registration form for the program listed below.

  2. Submit your payment via e-transfer to: payments@northdumfries.ca.  

    • If e-transfer is not an option, in-person payments (cash, cheque, or debit) are accepted at:
      North Dumfries Community Complex
      2958 Greenfield Road, Ayr
      Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Please Note:

  • Registration closes one week before the program start date.

  • Each program requires a minimum number of participants to run. Register early to secure your spot!

  • Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive an email from: recreation@northdumfries.ca

Seniors Lounge, North Dumfries Community Complex

Instructor:  none

Looking for a cozy spot to work on your current craft project and meet others who love creating? 

Bring your own craft, whether it’s knitting, scrapbooking, painting, or any project you’re working on and enjoy an evening of creativity and connection. This is a perfect chance to meet craft-minded neighbours, share ideas, and enjoy the social benefits of crafting in a welcoming community space.

No craft supplies or instructors will be provided, just a comfortable place for you to create and connect.

Friday, April 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Instructors:  Tom and Anne from POWWR Pickleball

Course Description:  This Learn to Play Pickleball pop-up program is perfect for beginners looking to get started. Join Coaches Tom and Anne as they guide you through the basics, from rules and techniques to building confidence on the court. Come out, get active, and discover why pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports around!

Cost:  $30.00

Instructor:  Jill from Dundee Doodle

Course Description:  Get creative outdoors in a fun, relaxed setting. Participants will explore painting techniques, express their imagination, and create their own masterpiece to take home. No experience is needed, just bring your creativity and be ready to have fun! All supplies are included.

What is the refund policy if I cancel my registration?

  • A refund will be issued if the withdrawal from a program occurs more than 7 days before the program. Please note that a $15.00 administration fee will apply to all refund requests.
  • NO REFUND or CREDIT will be given if a request to withdraw is made less than 7 days prior the program.
