Engineering and Public Works
The Engineering and Public Works Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Township's infrastructure which includes: roads and road side ditches; bridges and culverts; boulevard trees; traffic control devices, signage and pavement markings; catch basins, storm sewers and storm water management facilities; sidewalks; and, Municipal parking lots. The division is also responsible for the maintenance and oversight of the Corporation's fleet (except fire apparatus) of vehicles and equipment. In addition, the division also manages the design and delivery of the municipality's capital works program related to the repair, rehabilitation or expansion of the linear infrastructure network.
To report an outage or malfunctioning streetlight, please complete the outage or malfunctioning streetlight report form. This form will then be submitted to the Public Works Department for follow-up.
