TAKE NOTICE that at the Council Meeting, scheduled for Monday August 10th, 2026 at 6:00 pm, a Report from Staff will be considered in Open Session concerning the potential declaration of the residential property located at 10 Water Street, Ayr, as surplus for municipal purposes. The subject lands are located on Water Street, east of the intersection of Water Street and William Street within the Community of Ayr.
A copy of the Staff Report will be available for viewing and downloading on the Township’s website [www.northdumfries.ca] after 2 pm on Thursday August 6th, 2026. Click on the “Council and Committee Meeting” icon and follow the links to the August 10th Agenda.

The Township of North Dumfries also has a variety of properties listed on the Historically Significant Heritage Inventory list. While not officially designated, these properties have been identified as historically significant. In accordance with Bill 23, the Township's Heritage Advisory Committee is in the process of reviewing the inventory.
